 In 2022, Ms. Williams will return to Das KloHäuschen with her solo installation, Please Don’t Try to Relax. July 2019, Ms. Williams was a guest artist in the OCAD Summer in Florence, Italy open studios. Her short video, Adney Gap Redux, was shown at Serial Box Projects/There There Now, August, 2017, Columbia, MO. Ms. Williams work Hillbilly Smile (image above) appeared in Klohauschen - The Biennial of Neglected Life Forms, Munich, July, 2016.  Ms. Williams and Anna Rose recreated their Hair Picnic  at Das KloHäuschen in Munich, August 2015. Ms. Williams' installation, Busted appeared in the Edge Effect show at Fort Mason Center, Pier 2 in San Francisco, CA, May 2015. Her video, Annals of the Pyramid Club, was shown at the San Francisco Art Institute's Edge Effect Film Screening on May 14, 2015. Her video Never A Bride was featured in the Diego Rivera Gallery's group show, Minumental, San Francisco, 2014. In 2013, Ms. Williams collaborated with Anna Rose to create Crosshairs, including the original Hair Picnic, at the Swell Gallery, San Francisco.  Williams performed the work Eva's Ice Bath in the group show, Ice Factory II, curated by Hans Winkler at The Bunker in San Francisco, and she performed with Susan Stilton in the SFAI Graduate Lecture Series Summer 2012. She co-created and performed Cut Piece Nietzsche with Tobias Tovera in 2011 in studio 9 at the San Francisco Art Institute. Janean has also exhibited in X for Y, Diego Gallery, San Francisco, Woman as Photographer:  Documenting Life as a Woman at the MPLS Center, Minneapolis, MN, and at Labyrinth, Roanoke VA. Her performance piece, Far Fallina, a Madama Butterfly Barbie Opera, was awarded "Best of Orlando Theatre (Original Play) 2001."
